プレイングハンズ(合掌)は、インドが起源とされています。
右手が仏で、左が自分。
合わせることで一体になるということらしいです。
この形はの原画は、1508年の「祈る手」でドイツの画家
アルブレヒト・デューラーが描いたものです。

Playing hands is said to have originated in India.
The right hand is Buddha and the left is me.
It seems that by putting them together, they become one.
The original painting of this shape is ``Praying Hands'' from 1508 by a German artist.
It was painted by Albrecht Durer.
